Description:	Specific skills in: 1. Uploading and implementing (including assessment of client hosting suitability) of applications 2. Advising on suitability of a particular application for a particular client 3. Assessing time required to complete a project from concept to delivery 4. Design, development and implementation of logos, headers and side bars to promote corporate brands or classified advertising 5. Writing code to enhance/amend a particular applications functionality, look and feel 6. Quickly learning the front end application tools for basic customisation 7. Designing templates using the particular applications framework and limitations using both code and applications built in administration tools 8. Customisation of open source and proprietary applications. Both using raw code and the applications built in admin tools The specific applications are: 9. Jamit – www.jamit.com 10. OS Commerce – www.oscommerce.com 11. Magento - www.magentocommerce.com 12. Symfony - www.symfony-project.org 13. eBay API’s – http://developer.ebay.com/developercenter/php/ OR, ideally, all on http://developer.ebay.com/developercenter This is an internal permanent requirement for us as part of our expansion plans. However, we would like to have an initial trial period of 3 months. The successful professional will be working off site, under self supervision, with the usual remote communication arrangements including Video conferencing via Skype. Selection of the right person will be made based on technical & communication skills not place of birth or country of residence! Payments will be strictly on results in arrears. You must have exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English so that you can act upon emails immediately. The person would also have to have excellent time management skills and be very quick and eager to learn new applications as they present themselves.
